I’m the author of six published novels, a bestselling memoir, and four other non-fiction books, across a wide range of genres – rom-coms, crime novels, essay collections and more. I’m also the editor of two short story collections, and have over 35 years experience as a journalist and magazine editor.
I’ve run master classes and creative writing courses and workshops for the Guardian, HMP Thameside, Huddersfield Literature Festival, Lancaster Literature Festival and as part of the Polari literary salon Arts Council funded touring programme since 2014. I deliver courses, workshops and individual coaching sessions in person and online.

Prices start at £60 for an hour session, for an extract up to 3000 words (fee payable in advance).
I also offer discounts for block bookings of four sessions or more.
